Established in 1985 by four farm families. Incorporated as a Missouri Nonprofit in 2003 as Farmers Alliance of Rural Missouri dba Farmers Market of Camdenton. Received 501(c)(3) status in 2014.
Average of 20 vendors each week, sharing produce, meat, value added goods, artwork and crafts. Farmers donate much of the vegetables left over at the end of market to New Tribes or Share the Harvest Food Bank.
Member of the Missouri Farmers Market Association, AgriMissouri, and Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The current market co-managers are Sandy Nelson and Larry Coleman.
